I am a biologist-turned-science-communicator with an interest in impact: impact of scientific publications and impact of science and science communication on society. Born in Costa Rica, and having spent many years in Barcelona working as a science adviser, science editor and organising science outreach activities, I recently moved to London to continue my training. I now co-edit Refractive Index alongside my studies for an MSc in Science Communication at Imperial College.
